First assess viscosity, solids content, fibers and particles, then combine the target fineness and required throughput. Where categories overlap, use the main processing difficulty or the more conservative category.
All values are in kg/h. 'Trial required' means no reliable general value is available; it does not mean the machine cannot process the material.
Categories 07 and 08 must be calculated separately from the material condition and equipment configuration.

With a low additive level and thorough premixing, category 01 may be used as a reference. Test the formulation when viscosity rises.
Calculate from the highest processing viscosity, temperature and solids content; do not apply a fixed conversion ratio.
The JMS standard industrial series processes material continuously through an adjustable stator-rotor working gap. Model selection should be based on the material, target result and operating conditions together, not capacity alone.
