JMS-50 food-material capacity and verification

The current JMS-50 reference value is 5–30 kg/h for category 01 low-viscosity homogenizing. Other listed food categories require a material trial.

Categories 07 and 08 must be calculated separately from the material condition and confirmed equipment configuration.

Suspension-stabilized beverages

With a low additive level and thorough premixing, category 01 may be used as a reference. Test the formulation when viscosity rises.

Calculate from the highest processing viscosity, temperature and solids content; do not apply a fixed conversion ratio.

JMS-50 for small-batch process evaluation

The JMS-50 is the compact model in the current JMS range. It is intended for small-volume wet grinding, emulsifying, homogenizing and refining where the material, target texture and operating conditions can be checked before the final configuration is fixed.

What this model is designed to do

  • Wet grinding and refining: process pumpable slurries, emulsions and pastes in small batches.
  • Shearing, emulsifying and homogenizing: use the stator-rotor working zone to evaluate texture and process response.
  • Process screening: compare material behavior, target fineness, temperature rise and recirculation needs before confirming the final setup.

  • Material name, viscosity, solids content, feed size, fibers and soft particles
  • Required batch size or hourly output, daily running time and feeding method
  • Target fineness or texture, acceptable temperature rise and expected passes
  • Voltage, frequency, phase, cleaning requirements, contact-material needs and installation limits

For high-viscosity, high-solids, fibrous, abrasive, corrosive or critical applications, a material test and technical confirmation are required before the configuration is fixed.
